I'm a web applications architect and wish I could help. BBS software is easy on surface but there's a lot of considerations like how will you maintain true anonymity, privacy policy, deal with spam, DDOS, whatever. I'm currently working on mirroring what's here at least, will try to get an archive posted somewhere. I've been wanting to do that for ages just to make things searchable. I'm really sad!! its EXACTLY the same as UB but the search function works. I see people post the same things on both youbemom & UB, so there's a lot of overlap. There isnt the spam problem that UB has, either.
