DD is doing a short online Red Cross babysitting course, but otherwise refuses to read any quality books or basically do anything other than stare at her phone. I am making each DC get outside every day for exercise, but their reluctance to do so is frustrating. [ Reply | More

I have a rising 5th and 7th grader. School ended last Friday. I’m letting them do little for a couple weeks then will start them on a program of exercise, reading, math, science, music and fun online activities. I won’t make them do all every day. Reading 4-5 days a week, math and science a couple days a week. [ Reply | More
