Has anyone discussed the challenges with school busses for returning to school? The social distancing requirements will require far more busses to run. Maybe this is more of a suburban issue, but it could single-handedly prevent schools from reopening. Has anyone heard how this will be addressed? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Why wouldn't the kids just be required to wear masks like on a public bus? [ Reply | More ]

They might, but even then the guidelines require 1 child to a seat. [ Reply | More ]

on a public bus there isn't that restriction. What I am suggesting is that it makes no sense to require MORE for children than what is being required for adults. [ Reply | More ]

totally agree. Then they wash their hands when they get to school. Why are people making everything so hard. [ Reply | More ]

I am in flyover and this has been discussed - a regular sized school bus can hold 12 children instead of 72 with having to do social distancing. I don't think there are enough buses and drivers anywhere to make it feasible. [ Reply | More ]

if buses that carry adults to work aren't doing this, why are we requiring this for kids? It makes no sense. Everyone wear a mask. Done. [ Reply | More ]

Isn't that going to be balanced with the lower number of children attending at a given time point in a hybrid model? [ Reply | More ]

Yes, that could be, and also more parents will drive their kids. But this seems like a very significant logistical issue to work out ASAP. [ Reply | More ]
