Currently in MA where playgrounds just reopened. Surprisingly, they are all packed. My kids are dying to go to one but just not sure it's worth the risk. I can't imagine they ever get cleaned, at least not throughout the day, and my kids definitely touch everything and their faces a ton. How do others feel about this? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

That’s what I thought, go to playground first thing in the morning, more like 7 am and maybe spray or wipe down a bit if it too much to do [ Reply | More ]

How old are your kids? If over the phase where they put everything in their mouth, I wouldn't bother wiping. [ Reply | More ]

Are you in an apartment with no outdoor space? If so, go for it with precaution. Do you have a backyard and/or easy access to woods/hiking trails/other outdoor spaces for kids to run and climb? If so, playground isn't necessary. I'm in NYC and dying for our playgrounds to open not so my kids can go on the swings or slides, but just to have an open space nearby to play catch and run. I'm ok with the playground (wash hands after) but not the crowds. [ Reply | More ]
