Sorry if this has been beaten to death but - what would it take for you to be comfortable sending your kids to day camp? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

My kids are signed up. I struggled with the decision but ultimately decided that the numbers are low at this point (we are at summer place in CT) and the summer may be their chance to run around at camp outside with some other kids after months of being cooped up just with each other. Who knows what the fall holds, so we're going for it now. The camp had a decent set of guidelines that make me feel ok, the risk to kids is low (though I get that they can pass it on to me and I may fare worse), I also need to get some work done this summer and there's no school to distract them. All told, I felt that I was willing to take a chance during what I perceive to be a potentially short window of opportunity for them to just be .... kids. [ Reply | More
