If you really want your DC to stay in the city, take the option to go to a K-12 if you have one. I think this advice is pretty universal. Lots of competition for 9th grade slots at city schools and I only see this getting worse in the future with budget cuts and impact of DeBlasio administration on public schools. [ Reply | More
