After wearing Speedos all her life, DD 13 suddenly wants a bikini. Where can I get one for this age group that's neither too revealing nor frumpy? Thanks - we're in NYC. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Just got one for my 11 year old at Target. The Art Class brand. Super cute and appropriate for the age. [ Reply | More ]

Not to be prude mom but isn't that a little young for a bikini? I don't think I wore one till I was 19 [ Reply | More ]

And to clarify, I don't mean all two pieces. Just actual bikinis with triangles on top. [ Reply | More ]

Most people call all two pieces that don’t cover your stomach bikinis. My DD has one with a top that looks like a full coverage sports bra. [ Reply | More ]

I think "bikini" really means any kind of two piece bathing suit. there are plenty with fuller bottoms and a tank/ sports bra look for the top. [ Reply | More ]

we get them at target so she can get a few, she prefers big, high waisted bottoms and sporty looking tops. I don't think it is too racy at all [ Reply | More ]

Look at the sports brands, they usually have good coverage. Maybe Athleta? [ Reply | More ]
