Has anyone being diagnosed Covid positive and asked to quarantine in the city? If you live in an apartment how does it work exactly? Are you allowed to use laundry room in the building or go down to retrieve packages? Are you allowed to walk your dog or you are not allowed at all outside of your apartment? Is there tracing by phone that's been done? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I don't think it's strictly enforced by the city, but you are not supposed to leave your apartment. Our building has requested that anyone testing positive informs the board/management company. No use of laundry room, staff will bring packages to your door and collect garbage from your door. There are also volunteers to help you with shopping if needed. Obviously things may be different in yours. [ Reply | More ]

quarantine means you don't leave your apartment. BTDT. Ask friends to p/u drop off stuff. No, you don't go to the laundry room. No you don't get packages. Have them left at your door. If you live alone, ask a friend to help. If doorman buidling they will understand. I was ill in March pretracking. Ask whomever tested you or call the department of health [ Reply | More ]

Also if other people live with you and you have more than one bathroom, you should be the only person using that bathroom. Have plenty of disinfecting wipes on hand, but if you live with others you should stay in one room and not dine with family. [ Reply | More ]

Bleach spray is much more effective than wipes. SaturateSaturday the surface and wait 10 minutes and there's no wipe to worry about disposing. [ Reply | More ]

No one watches (except maybe building management, if they know). I did not leave the apartment for two weeks for any reason. I had groceries delivered and a neighbor brought them to my door. A lot of handwashing. [ Reply | More ]
