Dh's son from previous marriage is in med school after a Master in Public Health and has been working with a very important virologist in the area. We sometimes ask about studies/new covid related info that we might have missed and yesterday I really worried when he said that there has been a study showing that people with A blood type are usually more seriously affected by disease if they get it. Is it true? That is both mine and dh's blood type. We have been very careful these months (although dh tends to be dismissive and this bothers me) but this news is just adding some worry. I love that your son, who works with a renowned virologist told you something and you came to UB to see if it was true. Best post ever. And I also have read about certain blood types reacting more to COVID . [ Reply | More ]

NP: wow!!! Read back again. You are double checking an opinion of an expert by asking people who have no experience. I feel bad for your accountant, doctor and other expert who work with you. [ Reply | More ]

Is it that surprising? People constantly get second opinions here from things their gynecologist, divorce attorney, etc told them [ Reply | More ]

I think it's surprising that someone would fact-check a current news story here instead of Google or NYT, yes. [ Reply | More ]
