Did you ever have gallbladder issues during pregnancy? I'm 24 weeks along with my third. With my first 2, I had lower rib pain just from being squashed, and it went away when they were born. This time, I thought I had the same pain so I've been just dealing with it, but it's much worse and more intense. It's the right location for gallbladder. Anyone btdt? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

How are you making distinction between gallbladder and liver? At 24 weeks your uterus is not so enlarged that you should be having intense pain from compression of organs. If you are in that kind of discomfort please contact your prenatal care provider. [ Reply | More ]

I saw my doc on Tuesday, and he said it could be gallbladder and to monitor it. I just wanted to chat with someone who had experienced it. It's the upper abdomen, right side, and pregnant women are at higher risk for gallbladder issues. [ Reply | More ]

My gallbladder had to be removed kind of urgently when I was in my 30s, although I wasn't pregnant. I had had pain now and then but blew it off and then one night I felt pain I can't even describe. I was in the ER shortly after, on the table next morning. I think you should call your doctor. [ Reply | More ]

I didn't have much pain but I was vomiting all the time and diarrhea. I had my gall bladder out after I was pregnant. [ Reply | More ]

I had terrible pain in that area with both pregnancies. I had to go on Aciphex starting around 18 weeks (with the first I actually ended up in the hospital because the pain was so bad until they gave me a huge dose of antacids). [ Reply | More ]
