Wow I am surprised by this question. Betty Draper represents the woman of her era, educated and smart but trapped by the expectations of her times. A suburban prisoner. My mother and her friends were Betty Draper. Their consciousness was raised by Betty Friedan but it came too late for them. [ Reply | More ]
