My parents, who live 700 miles away, have been begging me incessantly to let them come visit so they can see our DD. I do not want to do this because my parents are in their 60's and one has asthma, and they would be in big trouble if they caught COVID-19. What do you think of this compromise I want to suggest: let's rent a big AirBnB/VRBO in the middle of nowhere halfway between us and hang out there for a week.
