It's actually not crazy. As much as schools really want to re-open, the challenges may be too great and the costs too high. Many families would actually prefer remote. If school doesn't reopen in the fall, it is very unlikely to reopen in January when the flu season will be peaking. This post could very well be accurate... [ Reply | More

i dont think its risky or statistically significant. there were estimated that 50-80% of nyc had been exposed or had covid. there are like 2 million kids in nyc, so lets say 1 million kids were exposed or had it. of those 150? ended up with kwasaki type symptoms. thats what 150 kids out of 1 million? thats a tiny tiny tiny percentage. and kawasaki type symptoms can occur after any virus (like strep).
