My 15 year old DD is on Discord chat servers a lot. I let her be, asking her to be appropriate. I recently saw something objectionable and went into her discord account. It was a mess. She has been very very inappropriate, almost egging on boys to send her "diXX" pics and then forwarding them as trophies. She uses very very inappropriate almost porn language in her chats. She has not shared any pics of her own to my knowledge. What should we do? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Tell her that she's circulating child pornography and take away her ability to use Discord. No computer except for schoolwork, and that should be closely monitored. [ Reply | More

I agree with this, but I think you also need to try to find some way to give her an outlet for his risk taking, attention seeking behavior -- it is a little harder right now given what it is going on in the world, but is there anything else you think could be an outlet for this part of her personality. e.g., I would give her her computer if she was doing makeup tutorials on youtube, etc. [ Reply | More
