Okay wise parents - before I consult with a professional, my late-walking 20 month old dd seems to walk with her toes pointed way out to each side - kind of like walking in ballet first position - does this mean anything? (dh walked late too, and he still walks with his toes pointed outward due to shortened achilles tendons - am hoping this is not her fate) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

sounds like she might need corrective shoes or a brace - I would consult with docs asap - her bones are still forming so they will correct easier sooner than later [ Reply | More ]
