what is the difference between a decorator and an interior designer? what is normal charge? If they quote me a price on furniture, can i ask what the discount is.was [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would think that an Interior Designer has more formal education, possibly an architectural background. What is their price structure for working with you? Many will charge you by the project or by the hour, but will then mark up furniture to which you may not have access as the industry is structured to only sell "to the trade". They may or may not be forthcoming about their mark up percentage. [ Reply | More ]
