almost 3y/o dd is relatively healthy (knock on wood) - but every three or four months she gets these weird viruses where the only "real" symptom seems to be a fever that waxes and wanes - usually lasts 3 or so days. sometimes she gets a runny nose, once she threw up 1x, this morning she gagged like she was going to throw up but didn't. Wants to lay around mostly, then she'll perk up for an hour or so before heading back to the couch. Normal stuff or weird? Should I ask the ped about it? Otherwise, she only has had minor colds in the last year. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i don't know if you should ask your pediatrician but my dd always gets very lethargic and sometimes runs a low grade fever when she's going through a growth spurt. [ Reply | More ]

interesting, I hadn't considered that. I doubt I'll call the ped or anything, maybe mention it at her 3 yr check, I guess. [ Reply | More ]
