i hate all the hatred. there's a growing divide and a growing lack of respect from the conservative groups and the liberal groups. why does it have to be personal. you can stand for whatever you want, vote for whatever issues you want. and the majority will decide. and then you should shut up about it until you have the choice to vote again. LOL! I mean when people start accusing me of weird things. Had a disturbing convo with a couple of friends and one got really nasty accusing the us of being complacent americans who don't appreciate what we have etc in a really mean way. First of all, I do appreciate my life. Secondly, she was acting like she was poor and I know for a fact that their HHI is way more than mine or the other mom. She was just vicious and accusing. Very uncomfortable. If she wasn't married to DH BF, I would write her off. But yeah - getting heated is ok. Just don't get mean! ;-) [ Reply | More

That is absurd. My dad was a military man. He never used that kind of language with my mother. My cousin is a career Marine. Chief Gunnery Sgt. Over twenty years in. He would never use that language with his wife. You think Colin Powell uses that kind of language with his wife? [ Reply | More

I'm a democrat who would have voted for him in 2000. But not now. He is off. He went from being a maverick and an independent to being cautious and reactionary. He repudiated many of the stands he took earlier in order to get the nomination. I think it will cost him the election. [ Reply | More
