I'm pg w/#4. My first two kids were very independent and, overall, adjusted well to a new sibling. My 3rd child is much more needy - on top of me all day, separation anxiety, only wants me. I prob. made it worse b/c she was supposed to be our last and I haven't stressed about it. Now that I'm 20 pg w/#4 and her clingyness has increased, I'm beginning to worry about what's going to happen when the baby is born. Did anyone do anything before the baby was born that helped a 2.5 y.o. become less clingy? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

she'll start preschool in sept. but i'm dreading that. she's the kid who cries every time i leave her at the nursery at the gym or with a babysitter. she's always fine as soon as i'm gone but my other kids did not do this [ Reply | More ]

i think that's fine. she has two older siblings and she's used to playing with other kids. you might want to set up a round robin or drop off playdate this summer. [ Reply | More ]
