i believe very strongly in letting kids stay at the age group they are supposed to be in. unless you feel your child is really not capable and would really not thrive by starting kindergarten already. [ Reply | More

my ds has a mid november birthday but the cut off for us is 12/31. he's definitely a little immature and in some ways i worry about him being with kids so much older. but i also can't see keeping him home or in playgroups for another year. he'll be 4yo. he's ready. so we'll do it. [ Reply | More
