Parents at PS87 have started www.kidsprotestproject.org to help coordinate kids' protest efforts over DOE budget cuts. 87 got great press coverage and we hope to keep the pressure on. The goal is to have students (accompanied by their parents as age-appropriate) from different public schools around the city arrive at Tweed Courthouse (DOE headquarters) each afternoon in June to deliver letters, hold up signs etc. to protest the cuts.
