I think it's funny that people here trash Kate's parenting style on Jon & Kate + 8. I make my 7 y.o. watch certain parts with me so she can see that other parents are intolerant of their dd's whiny behavior. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i've only seen a few clips of the show but what always struck me was not her parenting but the relationship between jon and kate. something seems off to me. or maybe it's just different enough from my relationship that i can't understand it. [ Reply | More

maybe. i'm sure the whole show doesn't accurately reflect things. (after all, a good portion of their life is shard with a camera crew and that fact isn't reflected in the show). [ Reply | More

the only thing i'd criticize her for is her obsessive cleanliness. i had to laugh at her getting mad a jon for not putting bibs on the 3.5 y.o. kids. my 2 y.o. doesn't wear a bib any more. but she claims it's b/c laundry is such a pain so what do i know? [ Reply | More
