NANNY question: when interviewing, do you throw out a salary or do you ask them what they want/expect? My current nanny has to leave suddenly & I'm thrown back into the interview process after many years [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

eh, have you ever looked for a job? Done any salary negotiation? It's the same when it comes to hiring a nanny. You are on the employer side, though. [ Reply | More ]

I asked them and generally got the "whatever you think" response- which I found irritating. This left me feeling like I was overpaying bc what if they would have done it for less. [ Reply | More ]
