wow. Those are big raises! everyone I know raises $25/year and $50-100 for a 2nd child. Honestly, I think you put yourself in a bad situation by raising so much for yearly raises. Don't know what to tell you. Will the older child be in school when the younger is born? If so, will you be taking the older child to school or will your nanny? Do you SAH or WOH? [ Reply | More ]

Then I think you need to increase to $950. No only will there be a 2nd child, but she will need to shlep that child to and from school each day, so having your older child in school doesn't actually make her day any easier. [ Reply | More ]
