HELP - DS is 9 months old for the past 2 nights he has been waking screaming uncontrollably around 9/10 pm (seems like separation from us) wwyd??? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Is this about 1.5 hours after DS goes to sleep? Sounds like a nightmare. Could be triggered by: (1) Growth Spurt, (2) Developmental Spurt (language, motor skills...) or (3) Very active day. Don't beat yourself up, this is totally normal! [ Reply | More ]

Comfort him. Is he really awake or is he still sleeping? I usually hold my ds while he cries and rock him gently while singing. Offer him water (if awake). The singing usually quiets him down. Try not to turn on a light... [ Reply | More ]
