Any suggestions on how to handle dealing with replacing a pregnant nanny for the 3 months she wants to take off in November? Is it too early to start looking? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

sooooooo nannies should not have kids? and if they do the kids should not get sick? kids are a part of life and so is getting sick, especially in young kids, your remarks was unfair. [ Reply | More

My nanny got pregnant and took off an entire summer - I don't think it's too early to start looking because you may find people who know now that a job of theirs might be ending in Nov or their family is leaving the city in Nov or something like that - we survived fine - and, yes, she calls out occasionally, but she already had a young child when she started with us - but for us, that's the sacrifice we make - she's wonderful and for us, that's what mattered most [ Reply | More
