Middle School is gong to be heartbreaking for dd, at times. Sigh. I'm not prepared for this and I'm glad that school is drawing to a close. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

In middle school I stayed out of the social fray by developing other interests: drama, chess, piano. I'm sure your DD will find her own ways to cope. [ Reply | More ]

she is a smart, independent kid who loves to read, etc. just doesn't know how to play the game (and doesn't really care about hanging with the crowd I define as the "Hannah Montana kids"), she just needs to find one or two good friends to chat with, I think. Thanks for your support. [ Reply | More ]
