i'm not sure. at one point i had a number in my head. now i just want to play it by ear. i'd love ot have a large family but (i know this sounds dumb) it's not easy being a parent. kids take a lot out of you. so for now, we're doing one at a time. [ Reply | More

no, not a contest. it just sort of happened that way. we had the first, we didn't see a reason not to go for the second. dc#3 was sort of a whoops. wasn't really planning on having it that soon. i wasn't really expecting to get pregnant. in retrospect, she was the smoothest transition. like the poster above said, i think both smaller families and bigger families have pros and cons. i see a lot of positives for dcs and i'm happy with the decisions we've made. ^^i'll also just add that it's not something you see the benefits of until it happens. each child is bringing so much to the family. there was nothing wrong with our family when we had one child or two children. but each addition just added something beautiful. adds a balance or brings out something in everyone else. so as long as i'm not feeling overwhelmed by it, and dcs are ok, and our finances are holding up, we decided to ttc again. i hope that explains at least some of it. good night [ Reply | More
