7yr old dd went to school nurse saying she felt sick and nurse sent her to lunch and back out to recess and was not nice to dd. When I picked her up today she looked horrible. Got her home, she had 102.8 fever and has thrown up. Do I bother to call school nurse tomorrow to ask her why she didn't call me to pick her up? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would call, but frame it not as an attack. Suzy went to see you yesterday, and when she came home.... Suzy doesn't generally complain about feeling sick unless she is sick. In the future, could you call me if she comes to you? [ Reply | More ]

Thanks. Great idea. I feel so bad for her because she's really sick. :( [ Reply | More ]

itda. fevers come on so suddenly. probably all was ok at that time. I'd drop it. year is almost over anyway. If the nurse called every parent every time a dc went there, then really you don't need a nurse, you need someone to call the parents. [ Reply | More ]

She held on for 3 hours and they had an all day event outside and it was hot. I was just surprised. [ Reply | More ]

OMG!!! That's our old school nurse in that article! How funny is that. And here I have an issue with this new one! Too funny. I get your point though. That is so funny. [ Reply | More ]
