My 3.5 yo constantly has a bit of sludgy poop in his butt. He is all red and I have to change his underwear constantly. He says it just comes out. He hasn't actually had a normal bowel movement in a week. Should I give him prune juice to clean him out? This is driving him and myself nuts! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

sounds like he is withholding and having seepage around the feces. if that's the case, it does often just leak out. prune juice and/or stool softener would be helpful. [ Reply | More
