My best friend's DH makes my blood boil. He is verbally abusive and she puts up with it. He constantly berates her, even in front of me and other people. I can't stand him and can't figure out why such a smart woman would put up with his sh*t. This past weekend I came so close to telling him off, though I know it would ruin my friendship with BF. I would mind my own business, but when he speaks to her like that in front of me it becomes my business. Ugh. He makes my skin crawl. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Have you talked to her about it or is it the elephant in the room? i once said something to my sister about her husband (and i love him but sometimes feel he is not as appreciative as he should be) and it went over like a ton of bricks. so tread carefully. [ Reply | More
