My pet peeve of the day. Women who take their marriages and DH way to seriously. By that I mean --men are idiots. They are like overgrown children and they do stupid idiotic things. We as women should mock them for this. It's nice to sit around with your girlfriends and compare notes on whose DH's is a bigger idiot. However there is always that one women who is like "my DH is so great. He is perfect" Blah blah blah. She never has anything but the most glowing praise. Whatever... I LOVE men and I LOVE my DH, but as a gender and a species they are idiots. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

you know what? if someone posted here that she was dating a guy who liked her very much but felt that women in general were foolish and unintelligent, everyone would tell her to get far away from this guy. you can call me uptight until the cows come home. you can say i take things too seriously until you are blue in the face. i wouldn't marry someone i thought was an overgrown child and i wouldn't want to be married to someone who thought that and that i was an idiot. and i certainly wouldn't want my spouse sitting around with her friends and trashing me.
