Any Anderson or PS9 moms on? Is there a camp for incoming Kindergarten kids? I know some publics in D3 have one.. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Anderson has an orientation morning where the kids meet the teachers and a new family picnic (both in June) and the FOA(fundraising assocation for Anderson) has a cocktail party for new parents. But I don't know what the plan is this year. [ Reply | More

i don't remember an FOA cocktail party for new parents. back when we were notified in february, new families were invited to the auction, but i can't remember any cocktail party (except the one organized by the class itself at someone's apt, once school started). [ Reply | More

Yes there is a classroom orientation and picnic for the families after school. However, it all depends if the school gets the list of the kids coming in time to pull it off this year, they are cutting it very close. [ Reply | More
