Recently moved to new town and have new doc. I have three small lumps on my neck - tiny and hard. One behind my ear, one in front of my ear, one halfway down my neck on the side. New doctor said they were swollen glands but not typical of a throat infection or cold. Then he said to come back in 2 months if they were still there. It's been another week and two are getting bigger. Noticed them originally about a month ago. Am I just being paranoid or do I need to find a different doctor? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

What do they do to check them out - bloodwork, a biopsy? When I was a teenager, I had a benign tumor removed from the other side of my neck. The doctor just felt it, thought it was a problem, and removed the whole thing (I guess assumed it was Hodgkins). But that one was much bigger. [ Reply | More ]

I have no idea. I would think blood test and maybe x rays or MRI? [ Reply | More ]
