sorry, repost: miscarried 2 weeks ago, at 6 weeks. ob confirmed with sonogram and said it was resolving on its own. now i'm very nauseated and have instant postitive on preg. test. so, does that mean i probably need d&c? or maybe pregnant? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

have you had your period yet? you might be ovulating or pms'ing and the rush of hormones is making you feel nauseous. i don't think it's unusual to get a positive pregnancy test after a miscarriage. but call your ob in the morning. [ Reply | More ]

How did you know you miscarried? Were you bleeding? Was your cervix open? Do you know what ob saw on sono? Six weeks wouldn't reliably show a heartbeat even for a healthy fetus. I wouldn't read too much into the nausea, but of course tell your ob (soon) that you still have a positive pregnancy test. They may want to track the blood levels of the beta HCG hormone that the pregnancy test measures, to be sure that it is decreasing. [ Reply | More ]
