I've got foodtv.com while I clean and they are talking about TV dinners. These poeple on there from Swanson's are talking about their 'brand' and 'product' and I think "THAT is your job?" Oh, god, I may not make a lot as a social worker but most of private sector bores me to death. I just cannot imagine. I know, I know...if people didn't do these jobs then I wouldn't be able to make my kids mac n cheese ...but how do you work such a job? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

My dh is a food broker- he is VP at a company that markets and sells private label food and brings the manufacturer to the supermarket chains. It is not sexy, but its an honest living. I dont see it as anything less important than any other job. People make careers in vastly diff. fields. [ Reply | More
