DH and I need a new computer; our Dell is 4 years old and full of viruses. My sister tells me Mac is the way to go. True? Pros and cons of going Mac v. PC? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

there is almost no risk of getting a virus on a mac because viruses are written for pcs. the only caveat is that if you run "parallels" (a program that allows you to run windows programs on a mac) you could get viruses. my dh converted me back to macs 4 yrs ago and now I can't stand my work computer!
