Random culinary thought of the day: My very old-fashioned Canadian mom always makes stewed rhubarb in the spring (just cooks it down with sugar until it's kind of apple sauce-y). I never tried it until today... it is SO GOOD. Like pie filling. I could've eaten the whole pot. And it's v. high in vitamin C, potassium and calcium. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
