I posted last week: now 12 weeks pregnant with blood test showing very high pregnancy hormone levels. They were worried about molar pregnancy but ultrasound 2 weeks ago looked fine and today the OB and I could both hear a strong heartbeat. Had a repeat bloodtest today, results tomorrow, and now I'm nervous again. Anyone btdt, has reassuring words? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Nothing is better than a good ultrasound early in pregnancy. Haven't been there (had opposite problem of low numbers), but good luck. [ Reply | More

sounds all good so far, just high levels. at most, they might find a twin hidden behind the one they found already. gl to you!! p.s. i asked age because sometimes higher levels are more common with older moms - but you're still pretty young. [ Reply | More

Thanks. When I say high, though, I mean really high - over 2 million. They were worried about a complete or partial molar pregnancy. But ultrasound found no evidence of that. So I'm hoping and praying it was just a lab error. [ Reply | More
