how soon after you took lupron did you start experiencing symptoms? And if you did experience any, were cramps and white discharge one of them? [ Reply | More ]

lupron gave me no side effects on my first ivf, and on my second, immediately got bad bad headaches, but no other side effects. on my 3rd ivf, sorry thats not encouraging, my dr said i could skip the lupron. Let your dr know your side effects and next cycle, hopefully you dont need another,. you can skip it...........The only point of lupron, he wont tell you this, is to hold you up so the medical group can get anoth woman on the same cycle... stinky right? sorry, typo above, lupron stalls your cycle until the group has a higher number of women on the same cycle. i think the discharge might be something else, call you regular gyn on that one, if its that bad. [ Reply | More ]

That sounds awful indeed -- the part about scheduling. How did you handle the stims? [ Reply | More ]

stop me if you want to stop answering questions -- did you decide in the beginning how many cycles you could live with, or just went forward and decided along the way? [ Reply | More ]

YES. You need to decide that right away..cuase you could end up Brooke Shields who did like 11, and its very hard on your body, and your ovaries, and my guess is will increase our chances of ovarian cancer astornomically, although of course there is no evidence yet. Think of the number, then add 1 adn then deal with it. [ Reply | More ]

You should pick the number bc the clininc will just keep enrolling you cycle after cycle..that's the only way they make money naturally. And its such a toll emotionally. i cant imagin 5 failed cycles..although some women can tough that out. decide what you're up for. Also, askj you dr what your chances are.. mine were 55%, so i felt with 3 i would have luck for sure. If your chances are 10%, as they are for a lot of woman, you are going to have to do 10 cycles, right? [ Reply | More ]
