I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. Trust me, it will show up again. Just keep the one you still have safe. I lost a diamond bracelet outside in a yard in the fall and found it in the spring. [ Reply | More

My kid did this a few weeks ago. I found them shoved in the gears of his pirate ship (a treasure!). They will turn up. Don't vaccum in your bedroom or put panthose over the hose . [ Reply | More

Pantyhouse over the vacuum hose is a brilliant idea. Also, look in the dresser. There is a good chance a drawer was open just enough for it to fall into the drawer. [ Reply | More

You have to think like a 2 yo. He either knocked it into your dresser without seeing or put it someplace special for safekeeping. Thoroughly check his toys - I only found my earrings by hearing a little jingle when I shook his ship, they weren't visible. [ Reply | More
