but sometimes if kids are heavy, it's better since they may not be mature enough for a booster. my recently turned 5 yo (who is on the very small side) is still in a marathon [ Reply | More ]

well my 1 yo i24 lbs and he is really really tall (haven't measured him in a while, but we weighed him last night) So I didn't want to take the chance of having to buy a second car seat. [ Reply | More ]

actually, it isn't a weight issue - it's a height issue [ Reply | More ]

we had Roundabouts for 2 yo and 3 yo. I think the Roundabout is 40 ins and 40 lbs. 3 yo just outgrew the height restriction and we had to get another carseat. I guess it's hard to know when you buy it (dd was 5 mos) that she's going to be tall and outgrow it before she's ready for a booster. [ Reply | More ]

it's sort of a gamble. You can pay a little more now and maybe never use it. Or buy a smaller one and hten have to buy another exdpensive one and only use it for like a 6 mos -1 year. I opted to pay a little more now. [ Reply | More ]
