Moving from Manhattan to Fairfield County. Anyone have experience with Padded Wagon, R-Way (Rooney Brothers), Kaster (out of Stamford) or Flat Rate? Also, what should we expect to pay (moving from a 2 BR apt). Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

wow, i am in the exact same boat. got quotes anywhere from 2200 - 4800 from flatrate, schleppers, big johns, all star, etc. when/where are you moving? [ Reply | More

we used Big John's to move from Manhattan to Westchester, we were very happy with them. Flatrate was our second choice. FWIW, BJ's had a higher quote than FlatRate, but they were willing to negotiate and we ended up getting a guaranteed rate from them that was slightly lower than FlatRate's. [ Reply | More
