My 3yo just had tonsils and adenoids out. Other BDTD moms -- did your child suffer 5-7 days later when the scabs came off? Or did they have a steady recovery. When did it seem like dc was all better? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No - my child had a great recovery. I would say it was really only a few days until they were 100%. Spent one day on the couch out of it, and we were up and about the next time. Really a great recovery. [ Reply | More

OP: 5 days out. It's hard to tell what's physical and what's psychological. She is still waking a lot at night crying (before the surgery, I thought this was due to sleep apnea) and she cries out seemingly in pain when she eats certain things (blueberries, food too hot).
