We moved from Manhattan to NJ two years ago. Don't regret it at all...lived in Manhattan for 10 years. Don't miss living there at all. (DH and I both grew up in suburbs, though, so we knew we wanted to get out here eventually). We could afford much more space (house and yard) out here than we could in the city. It's a love hate relationship. I love some things about the burbs, I miss the city terribly still. Nothing's perfect, but I feel like this is the best for ds...for now. [ Reply | More

we are weighing on this question too. 2 br apartment is going to be small soon when 2 kids grow up. But the also thinking of the commute, it will take away our time with the kids too and the convenience. Hard decision. [ Reply | More
