Anyone else have to stop playing with a longtime playmate bc you disagree with paren't discipline/lack thereof or parenting style? its really hard but they have lost control. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

That is definitely a deal-breaker. I would speak to the other parents about it, before you break things off. They are going to get the message/be offended either way so you may as well give them a shot at changing things. [ Reply | More

Well, they were certainly trying, but it was their first kid and i knew that what they were don't wasn't going to help much. I'm sure it's happening to them a lot. I didn't comletely break off. Just took a break. they get it. [ Reply | More

That's really tough. We had something a little similar but saw the family occasionally over the past 6 months or so, and now the children play really nicely together. Either the children, or the parents, just needed some time. [ Reply | More
