I was tested positive for bacteria in my urine so I started taking Macrobid 100mg, though my symptoms started a week ago. My symptoms was never too bad (sometimes frequent urination, sometimes had minor pain when I pee) but after taking this medication for 4 days, I still feel pain sometimes and I seemed to pee more than before. I am also getting a little cramping here and there (comes and goes) in the middle of my belly, I am not sure if it's the bladder? I've never felt the cramping before.... by the way, I am 27 weeks pregnant. Should I stop taking this medication??? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

This is a question for the MDs taking care of you. Infections can be damaging or fatal to a fetus, so in general they are important to take care of. Call your doctor first thing tomorrow morning. Good luck. [ Reply | More
