dh and i are going on vacation w/5 mo db next month, flying to bermuda. when taking a cab from the airport to our hotel, i guess we should just put her in the baby bjorn during the cab ride? any better suggestions? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Instead of a cab, you can arrange for a car service - some of them have cars with carseats, if you request this with your reservation. But I agree that it is probably easier to travel with the carseat, particularly if it fits into your stroller. [ Reply | More

bring carseat with stroller attachment, roll it up to the door of the airplane and then gatecheck it; it will be there when you land and you can roll it to the taxi and then take it off the stroller attachment to snap her in [ Reply | More

whatever you do, don't put her in bjorn and do seatbelt over both of you. in a crash the belt will squish her against you pretty awfully. [ Reply | More
