I damaged cartilage in my rib cage in February due to heavy coughing from a very bad flu. My ribs still hurt when I breath deeply or sneeze. Should I be having this looked at, or just a sign of being old - long recovery. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Just when it happened. I thought they were fractured, but the x-ray showed nothing. So they said "just cartilage damage" [ Reply | More ]

I'd call the doctor. You shouldn't still have pain 3-4 mo later. [ Reply | More ]
