Does your DH travel a lot for work? My DH usually doesn't but he's going to LA for 4 nights. I have two kids (6&2) and I know I can do it but it's going to be a little exhausting (ex DS has swim practice in the evening after DD goes to bed, so DD is going to be in a really good mood) -- also have bday parties for the kids, volunteer commitments, etc. Any tips for surviving 5 days, 4 nights? I let things slide a bit. Don't really cook, don't beat myself up if we don't make it to an activity. Do my best to get them to bed early so I can enjoy some alone time in the evenings. [ Reply | More
